(Don't) Do It

A SHORT FILM

WRITTEN BY RAAN SHALOM

DIRECTED BY DEAN PARKER

A JEALOUS MIND DOESN'T NEED TO SEE TO BELIEVE.

LOGLINE

Consumed by jealousy, a distressed young man is challenged by the love of his life's unfaithful boyfriend and does everything in his power to give her the life he thinks she deserves.

INSPIRATION

While brainstorming one day our director, Dean Parker, thought of a what if scenario. What if someone was so obsessed with their unrequited love that they were willing to go to the extreme to attain it. Together with script writer Raan Shalom, they tell this cautionary tale of the inability to move on.

CONCEPT IMAGES

Below are photographs took under the direction of Dean Parker with stand-ins to show a rough idea of what scenes might look like once completed.

LOOKBOOK

A lookbook is used to show how a film will look/feel through photos, movie stills, and other visual means. Our production designer, Haleah DeMio, and director, Dean Parker, created this lookbook to expand on the concept images and include looks for locations and costume design.
